Mölnlycke Health Care Surgical Division Announces Price Increase due to Soaring Raw Material Costs

The Surgical Division of Mölnlycke Health Care will increase prices on selected products due to major raw material cost changes. There have been significant cost increases in raw materials in the past years (e.g. oil + 22%, pulp + 40%, latex + 60% in 12 months). Concurrently, the cost of sea freight from Asian-sourced products has increased significantly.

Mölnlycke Health Care is dedicated to provide a high standard of safe and efficient single-use surgical products and services with the aim to minimize the risk of postoperative infections and create cumulative time, effort and cost efficiencies. In order to provide its customers with this high level of services, it necessary to pass some of these increased raw material costs on to the end user.
